The Varco Style 2627 Button Die (Pan P/N: 20227) is a high-performance circular insert engineered for the extreme axial loads of large-diameter drilling and casing operations. Designed for seamless integration into CMS-XL Casing Slips and DCS-L Drill Collar Slips, these buttons provide a multi-point “pyramid” grip that ensures fail-safe tubular handling. Every button is CNC-machined from forged 8620 alloy steel and heat-treated to API 7K specifications to prevent shattering under hydraulic pressure.
