HAMMER UNION

PAN Industries offers a complete range of hammer unions in standard and sour service. Hammer unions are commonly used in oilfield industry to seal two pieces of pipe or hose together and connected by threads or welds. They are high-pressure threaded or welded connections with two halves, a threaded female half and a wing male half with swivel nut that fit together and seal upon turning and then hammering the nut half together with the threaded half.

Description

Our Hammer Unions are the industry-standard solution for joining pipe and hose assemblies in a matter of minutes. Engineered for strength and durability, these high-pressure, quick-connect fittings are essential for fluid control in applications ranging from drilling and well servicing to production and general industrial use.

Each hammer union is precision-machined from high-quality forged steel and consists of three robust components: a male sub, a female sub, and a heavy-duty wing nut. The innovative design allows for rapid make-up and break-out using only a sledgehammer, drastically reducing downtime and increasing operational efficiency. With various pressure ratings and sealing designs, our hammer unions provide a leak-proof connection, ensuring the safe and secure transfer of a wide range of media, including drilling mud, cement, water, crude oil, and natural gas.

To fit different sizes of pipe or hose, corresponding types of hammer unions are designed. In most cases, they come in sizes from 1″ up to 10″ and in pressures from 1,000 psi up to 15,000 psi. We distinguish pressure ratings with different colors.

Below is the chart for complete pressure rating and color codes for each high-pressure hammer union available.

These unions are manufactured with latest techniques and workmanship with correct raw material suitable for specific Pressure Rating and service.
